中醫講“寒者熱之”，哪些地方受了寒、感覺疼痛，就可以用電吹風來吹一吹，用熱風來緩解疼痛。電吹風最常用於緩解落枕、肩膀受涼、痛經等不適。吹之前建議用手試好溫度，對準不適部位吹5~10分鐘。痛經者還可以切一片生薑放在肚臍處，然後再用電吹風吹，可起到溫中散寒的作用。
