Polypropylene plastic is another type of plastic used to package food items because it is light weighed, tough and boasts heat-resistance qualities. It does not melt even if it is heated, thus is moderately safe. Especially, this type of semi-transparent and white-colored plastic is used in packaging syrups and yoghurt cups.
