Luxury in London now comes with a new definition and that is thanks to the plans for sky pool that is expected to be build 10 stores above the ground. The ambitious project features glass construction with thickness of the class 20 cm, and size of 25 m by 5 m and 3 m of deepness. The sky pool with glass bottom is planned to serve as a bridge between two residential buildings in the district of Nine Elms in London. The construction will start this year and the site is expected to be completed by 2018, so that the new residents can move in.
CEO Sean Mulryan of the investor Ballymore Group stated that his vision for t sky pool came from his desire to push the boundaries in the world of urban construction. His aim was to do something that is different from everything that has been done before. Thanks to the advanced technologies in the last decade, today the sky pool can have transparent structure and thus provide unique experience to the residents as of floating through the air in the heart of London.
