The mountains, near Carbonado Washington, is the scene for this, lovely animal rescue story.
When a dog loving couple, Amanda Guarascio and Dylan Parkinson, heard the story of a lost and lonely fur baby, they knew they had to rescue him.which was living in the mountains near the town of Carbonado, Washington, they decided they would do whatever it takes to help bring him home.
For dog lovers, Amanda and Dylan, this was heart breaking, and they spent hours trying to coax him, with food, trying to reach out to him with kindness.
This poor fur baby, who they named ' Baby bear' was so emaciated and sad and desperate, that he had lost all trust in humans.
This is where the story becomes even more amazing. For his rescuers, were determined to do whatever it took, to win him round.
So, Amanda, lay down, curled up in a fetal position, with her hoodie covering her head, with her back facing him and lay as still as she possibly could and hoped that curiosity would get the better of Baby Bear, and he would eventually approach her.
This brilliant idea soon paid off, because Baby Bear began to approach her tentatively and even walked around her sniffing.
Carefully, Amanda remained still, lying on the freezing ground for about an hour, and waited and when he walked away, she began to slowly and softly creep towards Baby Bear, without standing up, However, he was still unsure and wary of her and growled at her. However, Amanda was undeterred and remained very calm, even making yawning sounds, for she knew that this method can sometimes calm aggressiveness, as the sounds can be soothe them
After what must have seemed like an eternity, Amanda's patience was rewarded, as Baby Bear finally relented and began to trust her, and laid down next to her. At this point, Baby Bear somehow sensed that she was not going to harm him and Amanda and Dylan was able to coax him into their car, and take him to the Vet.
Without a doubt, the dedication of Amanda and Dylan, saved this poor fur baby from suffering further. They quite simply, never gave up, the situation was frightening, extreme temperatures, a frightened fur baby, whose desperate plight caused him to fear humans, these conditions made it almost impossible to rescue him quickly. However, thankfully, with a little ingenuity, this poor baby, is now safe and well.
In an update to this story, PETA, have recognized their efforts and are trying to find Baby Bear's owners.
