Many of us are familiar with the intro of The Simpsons, where Bart is writing his lines right before running out of the classroom. And all of us have had our fair share of teachers decorating their blackboards with countless words, numbers and graphs. In Japan there are a few teachers who do things a little differently. With the goal of bringing their little students into the wonderful world of art, they use blackboards as their canvas. The results are creative, often stunning and always temporary drawings. Every time it ends with the kids mercilessly wiping the boards clean. But hey, how else are they going to make room for the next inspiring creation?
The chalk drawings are not totally 'wiped out'; pictures of each beautiful creation are hung throughout the school so that the students may continue to draw inspiration from them.
