Some people are fond of keeping baby pets, so that they can bring them up and make their beloved darling pets. Chameleons are one of them, not endangered, and are very common in most pet shops. Blue bar chameleons are a very common type to find in pet shops, and are popular among the populous as they are extremely good at changing colors, though they cost around $30 for a baby and $120 for an adult, they are worth it as they are extremely friendly (for reptiles) and are very brightly colored. Sometimes they seem alien, they are so vibrant. Here you will see 20 baby chameleons hatched out at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia. These are veiled chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus), a species of chameleon native to the Arabian Peninsula in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Newly hatched young are pastel green in color and develop stripes as they grow. The veiled chameleon is an omnivore. It favors insects, and it also eats plant matter, especially as a source of water.
