We are modern people and thus far, far away from the Paleolithic ritual of hunting. We buy our meat at the store and we do not even think about how hard it used to be before. Yet, in the wildest regions of Outer Mongolia, there is a nomadic tribe that keeps on acquiring their meat in the authentic way.
The photographer Hamid Sardar-Afkhami is a scholar in Mongolian and Tibetan languages, who has a PhD from Harvard.
