Mathematics is not the favorite subject for a lot of people. Those who do find math fascinating may be aware of the perfect geometry of nature, like the fractals displayed here. These natural plants seem too perfect to be true. Men have been trying to understand this perfect geometry for thousands of years. It was Galileo Galilei who wrote, "The universe is written int he language of mathematics, and its characters are triangles, circles, and other geometric figures. Plato stated, in the 4th century, that the symmetry in nature was the proof that there were universal forms. Then in 1952 the famous code-breaker Alan Turing tried to explain how nature could form such perfect patterns.
