Democrat Pastor Raphael Warnock Is The First Ever Black Senator In The History Of Georgia

Raphael Warnock, a Democrat Pastor, is the first ever black senator in the history of Georgia, USA, and they have made history.

Pastor Warnock won one of 2 Georgia’s Senate runoffs on January 6, 2021.

They beat Kelly Loeffler, a Republican, in winning the position by getting 50.5 percent of the votes.

Pastor Warnock spent 15 years leading the Atlanta Church, the same church where Martin Luther King Jr. Preached.

The historic win of Pastor Warnock comes after Donald Trump, the current sitting president of the USA, is trying to do their best to stay in seat.

During an interview with the press, Pastor Warnock said:

The other day, because this is America, the 82-year-old hands that used to pick somebody else’s cotton picked her youngest son to be a United States senator. Tonight, we proved with hope, hard work and the people by our side, anything is possible.

Such a great win for Pastor Warnock and the black community in America, who have been fighting for their rights for some time in the country now.
