Christmas holidays are that period of the year which we call family time. However, not all people are that lucky to be able to spend this magic time with their loved ones. Many of them are working during Christmas and one such person is Pierce Vaughan – a Delta Airlines flight attendant who had to spend her Christmas in the air on duty. As she is blessed with a loving father, she did not spend the holidays alone! Her father booked six flights across the U.S. in order to spend some time with his daughter.

That heart-warming gesture was shared by one of the passengers whom with the father of the flight attendant was travelling next to from Fort Myers to Detroit. The passenger Mike Levy – later told Dimplify: “I was surprised to see the post go as viral as it has. I’m so happy I shared such a lovely story. The attendant’s father Hal was in an accident earlier in the year. He broke his neck and was quadriplegic for a while. That was the first trip he had taken since his recovery. He still moves a bit slower, but stronger everyday as he told me.”

Mike Levy snapped a photo of himself and Hal sitting together with Hal’s daughter Pierce. In the post he wrote: ‘Hal decided he wants to spend the holiday with his daughter. Since she was working today and tomorrow around the country, he decided to fly and spend time with his daughter for Christmas. What a fantastic father! Wish you both a very Merry Christmas!’

This nice post has since been shared more than 28,000 times. This Tuesday, the daughter Pierce shared Mike Levy’s post and also added added: ‘Look ma, we made it Kimberly Hal Vaughan. Dad’s first trip using his benefits was a success!’

She also added: ‘A special thanks to all of the patient, wonderful gate agents around the country and my perfect crew. He made it on every flight and even got first class RSW-DTW (Christmas miracle). Shout-out to Mike Levy for being a great first class passenger & helping us to understand how cool this actually is!’
