R&B Singer Jaheim Arrested After 15 Starving Dogs Were Found Inside His House

This is absurd.

Jaheim, an R&B singer, was arrested by the authorities after they found around 15 starving dogs inside his house in New Jersey, USA.

The 43-yeare-old singer was arrested and charged with third-degree animal cruelty and failure to provide necessary care to an animal.

A post by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office’s Facebook page confirmed the charges.

He was arrested by the police on Monday after the Hillsborough Township Police Department responded to a call about a ‘puppy in distress.’

Upon investigation, officers found a total of 6 dogs in separate animal crates in the driveway of a Chamberlain Drive Residence.

A Pitbull terrier mix was also found unresponsive in a water filled crate.

The dog was later euthanized.

Additional dogs were also found in separate crates.

They were filled with several inches of water and dog feces, said official reports.

In total, 14 dogs were found and they were released to the Long Hill Kennel, which is located in Hillsborough, New Jersey.

Jaheim (born Jaheim Hoagland)’s court hearing is pending.

He has not released an official statement about the incident.

The singer released his debut album in 2001, which he followed a year later with his sophomore record.

In 2006, he dropped his third album on Valentine’s Day.

Over his career, he has sold more than 5 million records.

He has also received three Grammy Nominations.

Jaheim is the grandson of the late 1960s soul singer Hoagy Lands.

He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
