A poor tiny dog had be rescued by the authorities in Malaysia after a wild monkey kidnapped it for 3 days.

According to reports, the monkey kidnapped the tiny dog and brought it up on trees.

Saru, the puppy, was grabbed by the primate, who later took it on the top of an electricity post.

The incident happened in Taman Lestari Putra, Malaysia on September 16, 2021.

Images that were shared on social media shows the monkey holding the tiny dog tightly.

Cherry Lew Yee, an onlooker, talked about the incident and said:

‘The puppy looked tired and weary but the monkey did not seem to hurt it. The monkey was just holding the puppy while it moved around. It looked like it was treating the puppy as a friend or its baby, it was very strange. However, we still needed to save the poor dog because it appeared to have been starving.

Cherry and neighbors went to the area where the monkey was last spotted. But the thing was, the monkey would always outrun them and would go along electricity lines and inside the jungle.

After 3 days of trying to rescue the dog, rescuers managed to do the impossible.

The monkey returned to find food while still clutching the small dog in its arms and rescuers got to get the dog from the monkey.

The dog was brought to a local vet and was checked for injuries.

A local adopted the dog.

The tiny dog is in a good condition despite spending 3 days with the wild animal.
