Florida Man Arrested For Leaving 2 Pet Dogs To Eat Furniture As They Starved To Death

A man from Florida, USA, was arrested by the police for leaving their 2 pet dogs to eat furniture as they were starving to death.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said that David Fritsch Jr., the 33-year-old suspect, starved the dogs over some time.

A report by Clickorlando.com said that the man had starved them to death over a period of “several weeks”.

In a post on Facebook, Ivey said that it was the worst case of animal cruelty that they had ever seen in their life.

Ivey has been a cop for over 40 years now.

The man was jailed on Wednesday of this week on 2 counts of animal cruelty.

He reportedly kept the dogs locked inside a bedroom of his house in Canaveral Groves area.

A necropsy that was performed on the dogs found pieces of wood from furniture, plastic bottles, plastic bag, and band aids inside the stomachs.

The man also admitted to the police that he did not feed the animals.

The man did nothing when it comes to giving the dogs help, giving them food, and even water for thirst.

The man is currently being held in jail on a $8,000.
