Bob Barnard, a Fox5 Reporter, was delivering a weather report in Northern Virginia, when the puppy decided to run up to him.
The puppy belongs to a local.
The video of the moment was shared on social media and it currently has over 1 million views on YouTube alone.
The reporter was talking about the cold weather in the area when the camera panned to show the puppy running up to the TV crew.
The weather reporter then picked up the puppy and said:
Forget the people we talked to earlier! I want to get to know this dog.
A local woman, the owner of the dog, walked out from a nearby house and told the crew that the name of the puppy is Pierogi.
The woman said that the puppy jumped over a fence and joined the crew after noticing them.
