An 84-year-old African man was upset after finding out that his two wives have remarried after he left them 47 years ago, which was in 1974.
84-year-old Peter Oyuka returned home after leaving the Makale village in Malava, Kakamega county 47 years ago when he was 37.
The man told his people that he was leaving to search for greener pastures to take care of his two wives and 5 children.
The thing is, he did not inform his family of where he was headed and when he would be returning back to his family.
The man also claimed that he had visited Kakamega in 1983, 1992 and 1996, but failed to enter his home.
Right now, the man has returned for good but was saddened to find out that his wives had given up on hopes of his return and had married other men.
He had spent 47 years in Tanzania, where he fell in love and had a child with another woman.
Despite that, he expected his wives to remain intact with him.
He said:
I wish my wives were here today to welcome me home. My Tanzanian lover stopped communicating with me and is yet to allow me to meet our son. I wish my two wives well in their marriages. However, I’d like them to know that I’m still alive and that they should create time and visit me.
Oyuka’s return home was facilitated by a Good Samaritan, who shared details about him on Facebook.
His 53-year-old son, Aggrey Osanji, was just 6 years old before he vanished saw the post and followed up, which lead to his return home.
