Taliban Kill 14 People Of Hazara Minority In Daykundi Province

The Taliban have killed 14 of their own people, said a report by India Today.

In a report that hey published, it was said that the Amnesty International have found out that the Taliban had killed 14 people that belong to the Hazara Minority, who are found in the Khadir district of Afghanistan’s Daykundi province.

Who got killed?

According to Amnesty International, 12 soldiers and 2 civilians were killed.

The group did not reveal why the 12 soldiers and 2 civilians were killed.

This comes a single month after the Taliban tortured and killed nine men of the Hazara minority and looted their homes in Ghazni province.

The same claims were made by Amnesty International.

According to Amnesty International, multiple people who saw the entire incident came to them and talked to them about what happened.

The witnesses said that everything happened between July 4 and July 5 in the village of Mundarakht, Malistan district.

The report said that 6 Hazara men were shot while three of them were tortured to death by the Taliban militants.

The Hazara community is one of the largest ethnic groups in Afghanistan and they practice the Shia Islam.

Agnès Callamard, the secretary general of Amnesty International, said:

The cold-blooded brutality of these killings is a reminder of the Taliban’s past record, and a horrifying indicator of what Taliban rule may bring.
