A 2-year-old boy was supported by the entire hospital staff as he was taking his first steps since becoming paralyzed.
The entire moment was caught on camera and it was just amazing to watch.

Alaric Bridgeman was smiling all the way when he was walking down the hallway of the Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio, USA.
The emotional moment was captured on camera by the hospital.
In a post that was made by the hospital on Instagram, they said:
It was a very exciting day to send Alaric home and see all the incredible progress he has made!
According to the hospital, the boy was suffering from a rare inflammatory disease that is know as the transverse myelitis.
It started in December.
The disease paralyzed the 2-year-old completely.
The diseases causes inflammation and injury to the spinal cord.
After being admitted to the hospital, staffers started working with the boy.
He was shopping some movement and slowly, it just got better.
Over the span of time, the boy tirelessly worked with physical therapists 2 times a day to regain his movement.
The boy would walk with Dustin Bridgeman, his father, throughout the hospital.
The 2 would befriend everyone that they passed.
Last week, the efforts of Alaric paid off.
In order to celebrate, the hospital set up a mini-road on the hallway floor and hung a finish line with flags and a banner that read “I did it”.
As the boy was making his way out of the hospital to return home, everyone was cheering.
He then fell into the arms of one of his physical therapists, who greeting him with a big hug.
Such an amazing thing to witness, right?
