A family from the Canada was left horrified after they found a massive black bear standing up at one of the desks that they had inside their bedroom.
According to reports, the Reddy Family in Fort McMurray, Alta, heard odd noises before finding out that a bear had entered their house.
During an interview with Radio Active, a radio operated by CBC in Edmonton, Reddy said:
My younger son came out the front door and was like, ‘What are you guys doing? There are all sorts of scratching in the house.’ I was like, ‘OK, what do you mean?’ My oldest boy ran into the house and he came out and he’s like ‘The bear’s in the hallway!’ OK. That changes things. I could hear him snorting in there and my son had half a bowl of cereal left on his computer desk. We heard the bowl smash and hit the ground. I was thinking, ‘What’s he doing? Destroying the room?’
The bear wandered inside the house for some time before Sean and a neighbor closed the door of the room.
They did it hoping that the animal would exit through the window.
The thing is, the window of the room was closed, so they had to come up with another idea.
The family barricaded the hallway, opened the main door and allowed the massive animal to wonder out through the house.
The bear eventually made it out of the house.
The family later found out that the bear had forcefully entered the house by knocking off a window screen and crawling in.
After the bear left the house, the massive and deadly animal wandered around the local community.
It also visited the house of Sean’s mother.
According to experts from Alberta Fish and Wildlife, the area is a hotspot for bears.
Experts have also set up a trap on the road to catch the animal in case it returns to the area.
