Images that are viral on social media right now shows the moment a caiman and an anaconda were in a fight in Brazil.
In the images, the snake wrapped itself around the caiman in a battle that lasted for around 40 minutes, said a report by DailyMail.
According to the reports, the incident happened on the banks of the Cuiabá River.
During the fight, the caiman reportedly tried to free itself as the anaconda constricted itself more and more with the massive croc sinking its teeth right into the snake.
The good thing is that the brutal fight ended in a draw after the caiman foguth off its attacker.
Kim Sullivan, a wildlife photographer from Indiana, was the one who caught the entire thing on camera.
He said:
The caiman went under [the water]. I could see the tip of the anaconda’s nose struggling to get air. The caiman came up still constricted by the snake and then went down again for a long time. This time it came back up free, and we did not see the snake. The caiman calmly came back to the bank, and we kept our eyes on the river until we finally saw the anaconda come up on the riverbank and slither back into its hole.
