Business Owner Pays Over 110 Utility Bills Of Families That Were Facing Disconnection

A business owner from Florida did something for struggling families because they understood what it’s like to be in their shoes.

The business owner paid his luck forward by paying the utility bills of 114 families that were facing disconnection and were past their dues.

Michael Esmond, the kind man, has been a good person for some time now.

Esmond has paid the utility bills of 36 homes in his community alone.

Talking about his kind act, Esmond said:

This year to me probably is more meaningful that last year with the pandemic and all the people out of work having to stay home. Hurricane Sally slammed us pretty good and hurt a lot of people. We still have a lot of the blue roofs here, where they’re just covered with tarps.

The man ended up paying over $7,600 in utility bills, which belong to 114 households.

He also sent holiday cards to the residents and notified them about what he had done.

Esmond added:

That really impacted me – that people can’t even afford to pay a $100 bill on their utilities and things are so bad. That’s why I was able to pay for 114 families.

Despite the pandemic, Esmond said that the business he owns was doing pretty well, so the fact that many were suffering left him with guilt.

He continued:

We’ve had a good year, and that’s why I want to share what I have with the people who need it.

What an amazing person Esmond is!
