Steph Curry and wife Ayesha secretly served over 15 million meals during coronavirus pandemic

Not all heroes wear capes, some are basketball players and one of the best couples in the world.

Stephen Curry and Ayesa, his wife, secretly served around 15 million meals during this coronavirus pandemic.

Such an amazing thing to do!

The couple reportedly teamed up with chef Jose Andres to serve over 15 million free meals to families in need since the coronavirus pandemic.

Stephen Curry is a basketball player for the Golden State Warriors. He is a 3 time NBA champion.

Last April, Eat.Learn.Play, the foundation of the Curry’s, served around 300,000 meals per week to families in East Bay.

They reached 15 million meals, announced the foundation.

The best thing about this is that the foundation is still trying to help more people that have been affected by the pandemic.

The foundation also pays struggling restaurants and businesses to prepare free meals for families and the underemployed during this pandemic.

The program has put back around $20 million to the local economy.

900 restaurant workers have been rehired because of this.

World Central Kitchen’s restaurants operations lead Anna Shova released a statement about the kind act.

They said:

It’s like we’re feeding the restaurants to make sure they can feed the community. Restaurant culture has changed. Popular Michelin star restaurants have now asked ‘What else can I do for the community?’ Now, it’s less about being rewarded and more about being closer to the community. People are opening up their eyes.

Ayesha and Steph are no longer living in the East Bay, but despite that, they are still involved in helping out everyone that are in the area.

The couple currently live in Atherton.

Such an amazing thing to do in such times, right?
