A woman from South Carolina, USA, who received a lottery ticket as a gift on Mother’s Day from her father wins $125,000.

The woman, who was not named, told South Carolina Education Lottery officials that her father gave her the ticket.
The Florence woman said that her father gave her a $5 Carolina Black Ruby scratch-off ticket as a Mother’s Day gift.
Upon scratching off the ticket, the woman found out that she had won $125,000.
Talking about the win, she said:
It was crazy. You see all the things you can do flash before your eyes.
The winner said that she plans to use some of her winnings to do something nice for her parents.
She explained:
My parents are going to be taken care of. This is finally feeling real.
Such an amazing thing that she’s doing something for her parents instead of herself.
