A 9-year-old boy from Argentina is making headlines all over the world after a crucifix that they were wearing managed to stop a bullet to reach their chest.
According to reports, the crucifix that they were wearing stopped a stray bullet from penetrating their chest.
The incident happened in the municipality of Las Talitas, which is located in the province of Tucuman in Argentina.
Official reports suggest the incidnet happened at around 10pm on December 31, 2020, but it was just recently made public.
The boy has been identified as 9-year-old Tiziano.
He was celebrating the New Year with his family when he just felt a strong impact on his chest.
The boy said that he was just standing in front of their house waiting for his sister and cousin to get inside when everything happened.
The boy was rushed to a hospital, where the medical staff found a superficial wound on his chest.
At first, the family of the boy had no idea what happened, but upon investigating, they realized that it was a stray bullet.
David, the father of the boy, received a picture from the aunt of the boy showign that there was a bullet on the crucifix.
One of the pictures that were shared with the public shows the cross pendant from behind.
The family claims it saved the life of the boy after it stopped the bullet from penetrating his chest.
The family said they did not realize that the crucifix had saved them until his aunt sent the picture.
The authorities have been informed and they are currently conducting investigations to find out what happened.
