2 airplanes reportedly collided mid-air in Colorado, USA.

Luckily, no one was injured in the incident and everyone on board managed to walk away from the incident.
The 2 planes reportedly collided in the air near Denver.
One of the airplanes deployed a parachute and drifted to the ground.
People that were on board a Cirrus SR22 walked away without injuries.
The other plane, a Metroliner, also managed to land at a nearby airport.
According to Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson deputy John Bartmann, said that the pilot of the Metroliner was the only one in the plane when the accident happened.
They were not injured.
However, the airplane’s tail section did suffer major damage.
Talking about the incident, Bartmann said:
You expect something a lot worse. This was amazing. We’ve had several plane crashes in our jurisdiction. Never have we seen a parachute be deployed and bring the plane down safely. I think miraculous is a good word. It’s ‘winning the lottery’ kind of luck.
Authorities later shared a picture of the incident on social media.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department later said that debris from the crash was scattered widely.
Anyone that finds parts of the airplane should contact the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department.
The National Transportation Safety Board said in a tweet that the incident happened as the 2 airplanes were trying to land.
The National Transportation Safety Board announced that they have launched an investigation into the incident.
