Taliban Bans Girls From Continuing Secondary Education

They strike again with another stone age rule!

The Taliban has announced that they are not going to allow girls from continuing their secondary education.

According to reports that came out of Afghanistan, the Taliban have announced that they are going to re-open high-schools in the region.

However, the schools are only going to be made for male students.

The Taliban have made it clear that girls have now been banned from secondary education.

The schools in Afghanistan have been closed for over a month now, which mainly happened after the Taliban took over the country.

Despite the promises that they made earlier, which were to re-open the schools for everyone, the latest announcements by the heads of the group are now excluding women.

Previously, the Taliban promised that women would be given rights as long as they are within the Sharia Law.

They also said that women could study however they would have different classrooms from men.

Last week, the Taliban said that they would allow women to study up to university level, allow them to work and even govern, however, none of them are being allowed in the country.

The government recently placed a ban on women playing sports and earlier this week, a ban on women going to school.

On Friday, the education ministry of the Taliban released a statement where they released plans for boys in grades 7 to 12 to return to school.

The statement did not mention women and female students or teachers.

Right now, Afghanistan is the only country in the world that has openly denied education to half of their population.
