A 10-year-old girl from the United States died after catching COVID, which she caught after a teacher made her nurse other sick kids.
According to reports, Teresa Sperry lost her life days after becoming ill in her fifth-grade class at the Hillpoint Elementary School in Virginia, USA.
Doctors confirmed that she got the virus 2 days after she passed away.
On September 22, 2021, she was sent home after she started to have headaches.
She was admitted to the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughter later in the week after she developed a severe cough.
On September 27, 2021, Nicole Sperry, her mother, confirmed her death.
In a post that she made on social media, Nicole said that Teresa was in perfect health prior to the illness and said that members of the school had asked her to take care of other sick children.
Nicole also said that her daughter would have been in this world if people would stop sending their sick children to school.
She also claimed that the school had not called her to offer condolences after the death of her daughter.
Jeff Sperry, the husband of Nicole, made the same accusations during an interview with local news agencies.
Jeff told The Virginia Pilot that the school made her daughter walk all sick students in her class to the nurse’s office.
Officials at the HIllpoint Elementary did not confirm or deny the allegations of the parents.

The protocol at Hillpoint Elementary School is for the classroom teacher or any adult to contact the main office with a Code ‘C.’ When this occurs, one of the administrators or school nurse will come to the classroom to pick up the student. We are still investigating to ensure that this process was followed with fidelity.
The parents of girl are fully vaccinated.
