An accountant in Guatemala is now viral on social media after they took advantage of an active volcano.
The accountant that we are talking about made pizza on the active volcano.
He is now called as the “pacaya pizza” guy.
34-year-old David Garcia used streams of molten lava to make the pizza that he was carrying with him.
Picture and videos of him were shared on social media.
They show David wearing protective clothing and baking pizza over the molten lava.
Garcia used special metal sheets that are capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 1800 degrees Fahrrenheit.
Talking about how he cooks the pizza over the molten lava, David said:
I put it in a hot cave that was approximately 800 degrees and it came out in 14 minutes.
Talking about his pizzas, Garcia said that his pizza is amazing and it tastes delicious.
Numerous reports suggest that people have been flocking to the volcano just to see Garcia making pizza over the molten lava.
I mean, that’s something new, right?
The Pacaya Volcano has been erupting since February this year.
Local communities and authorities are currently on high alert.
The Pacaya volcano erupted for the first time 23,000 years ago and it has erupted 23 times since the Spanish Conquest.
