Shoppers Left Horrified As Massive 3-Metre Python Slithers Out Of Spices Isle In Australia

Things you only get to see in Australia.

Shoppers at a supermarket were left completely horrified after they spotted a massive 3-metre python slithering out of a spices isle in Australia.

Helaina Alati was going through she spices shelves at a Woolworths store in Sydney, Australia, when she was left completely stunned.

As she was passing by, the woman saw a head slowly crawling out of the spices and upon inspecting, she realized that it was a snake.

Talking about the snake, the woman said that it was looking at her.

She added:

It was almost like he was asking me to take him outside. It just happened to be the one that found it.

Luckily, the snake was not aggressive and the woman herself was a volunteer snake catcher!

Upon noticing the snake, she slowly grabbed the snake and placed it inside her bag to relocate it in the wilds, where the snake really belongs.

Helaina did release the snake back into the wild and shared images of the relocation on social media to prove that she did was right.

A spokesperson for the supermarket released a statement about the incident, saying:

A slippery and rare customer was spotted in the spice aisle of our Glenorie store yesterday morning. Once it was sighted, our team members reacted quickly and calmly to cordon off the area for the safety of customers. A snake catcher removed the slithery customer, who was released safely into bushland shortly after.

This one is scary, right?
