Cat with 9 lives jumps from 5th floor of burning building and runs away like nothing happened

A cat has 9 lives, don’t believe us, keep on reading.

A video that is viral on social media right now shows a super cat jumping from the 5fth floor of a burning building and running away like nothing happened.

The video was reportedly filmed at the scene of a fire in Chicago tower block.

It shows a black cat stranded up in the air with smoke coming around it.

The cat then checked the side of the building to look if there is a way that it could use to run into safety.

But because there was none, the cat took a massive leap.

The cat bounces on a patch of grass and runs away to hide.

The entire incident was caught on camera by the Chicago Fire Department.

The department share the video on Twitter along with the caption: “Nine lives for a cat that jumped from fire at 65th and Lowe. Cat hit grass bounced and walked away!”

The escape of the cat has impressed people on social media.

I mean, it jumped out of a building and survived. Who wouldn’t be amazed??

After making the escape, the cat reportedly tried to get back in, but luckily it did not and decided to go a different way.

Larry Langford, the spokesperson of the Chicago Fire Department, said:

It went under my car and hid until she felt better after a couple of minutes and came out and tried to scale the wall to get back in.

Langford said that the cat was not injured.

About the fire, it was said that no one was injured in the building.

Officials did not reveal how the fire started or how much damage it caused to the owners of the building.
