Russian President Vladimir Putin Says Transgender Education Is ‘Close To A Crime Against Humanity’

Vladimir Putin, the current President of Russia, is saying that it is “close to a crime against humanity” for the West to be teaching children about transgender issues.

While speaking to the Valdair International Discussion Club in Sochi, Russia, he said that the acceptance of gender fluidity in the West is monstrous.

He said that generations of children are going to have their ruined as a result of being taught that a boy can become a girl

In Russia, it became official that same-sex marriages are not going to happen.

In July 2020 same-sex marriages were officially prohibited by the Russian constitution and in 2013, ‘propaganda of non-traditional sexual relationships’ was also forbidden

During a discussion about children learning about changing their gender identity, Putin said that it was a monstrous moment.

He said:

[It is a] simply monstrous moment when children are pushed to believe from early on that a boy can easily become a girl, and vice versa. They are pushed to believe they have a choice, imposed while parents are swept aside. And a child is forced to make a decision that can break their life.

Putin also said that a child’s age is not considered when they are making such decision and added that no one consults child psychologists.

He ended it with:

Calling a spade a spade, this is close to a crime against humanity dressed up in the name and under the flag of progress.

Putin recently said that it is his duty to prevent gay marriages so that he could reinforce families.
